Baclayon Church

Visit one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, known for its historical significance and beautiful architecture. Constructed from coral stones and egg whites used as binding material, its architecture reflects a blend of Spanish colonial style and local craftsmanship. Inside the church, you’ll find antique relics, intricate altars, religious artifacts, and centuries-old artwork. The adjacent museum houses rare ecclesiastical items that offer a glimpse into Bohol’s religious history. Despite damages from past earthquakes, restoration efforts have preserved the church’s timeless beauty, making it an important historical and cultural landmark in the province.
